My wife and father-in-law are major Gor­don Light­foot fans, to the extent the saw him per­form at the Keswick in Glen­side last week and joined the line of stalk­ing groupies at the back door stage to get his auto­graph (seri­ously: http://​www​.flickr​.com/​p​h​o​t​o​s​/​m​a​r​t​i​n​_​k​e​l​l​e​y​/​7​2​3​9​3​2​7​1​32/)

Tonight we found this extensive-seeming list of Light­foot cov­ers (http://​www​.light​foot​.ca/​c​o​v​a​r​t​s​t​.​htm). In the inter­est of increas­ing the cooli­tude of the Inter­webs, I’ve cross-referenced some of the more unusual per­form­ers with Youtube to pro­vide this playlist. So sit back and relax with Bar­bra, Telly, Elvis, the Dead, the Warhols and who­ever else I find.
