I'm not quite sure just how to respond to the group hug Chris M has organized, the QuakerQuaker Carnival. It's mostly just nice to hear how people have come together these last few years via blogs to talk about what they believe, what they experience and what they dream about for this little religious society of ours. This isn't the first online community I've been involved with but it's by far the most lively. My in-between-careers lifestyle right now isn't the most glamorous so it's nice to read these kind words. Thanks Chris and thanks everyone!

Martin, I have enjoyed reading your blog for over two years now. Your reading suggestions, your personal perspective, your cute kids - it was and still is a pleasure to read your personal blog.

One of the things I treasure about Quaker Quaker.org is that it doesn't feel to me like "Martin Kelley's site." Even though I know I couldn't possibly put something like it together, I feel like it's my site too. I appreciate the breadth of the Quaker blogging community reflected in the posts I read there, especially the ones from blogs I don't subscribe to - I catch up on them from time to time when someone else links to them.

So here's another point for your readers to consider - my blog is free to me and you, but a technological marvel like QuakerQuaker.org costs some money. Even a small contribution from you to the paypal account in the margin of QQ.org (or this blog right now) helps make QuakerQuaker possible for all of us.

Thanks Martin for holding us all together.

"Life is a carnival, believe it or not, Life is a carnival, two bits a shot." Thank for your wonderful thank you note. Your wife sent me a thank you on the wildest and most beautiful catholic shop card ever. Both of you are beautiful. Now is certainly not the time for you to get involved in starting a new meeting, but someday Martin...someday. Prayers for a good job for you. Peace and Rest to you and Julie.
