The first Holidays—Thanksgiving, Christmas, the holiday get-togethers with friends and family. Plus the first snow.

Thanksgiving 2003: Cousin Maia shows her Italian roots, tries to feed feed feed Theo. They were both cutie-pies on Thanksgiving.

As Thanksgiving Day wore on, Julie’s sister Becky started playing with her food (the hand full of olives is a annual tradition). Maia follows her mama with her pumpkin pie.

December visiting with friends. Visiting Central Philly, a nametag Quaker meeting, afterwards visiting Jorj (pictured), Sue and Tobi. At Steve’s place, Martin introduces Theo to Asteroids, the game that devoured his fifth grade allowance money back at Lorenzo’s Pizza.

Julie’s friend Jessie and her kids. No, Colin’s not really strangling our cat. Yes, he really is riding his mother. Just maybe he’s playing nice with his little sister Callie.

Random action shots.

Picking the Christmas tree on the farm down the road. We set out in search of the perfect tree; our unanimous choice; Theo caught mid-sneeze.

Trimming the tree.

Because of colds, we missed Christmas proper but had a late Christmas with Martin’s brother John and family. Shown Tristan & Rose, John on guitar.
