Critiqued over "use of the categories of 'secular progressive' and 'progressive evangelical.' There has got to be some acceptable way for us to talk about these two different cultures. Yes, they overlap. (More and more, I’m an example of that myself.)"

Our greater awareness of the testimony of equality makes such a double standard unacceptable now that we fully see it. But once seen how is the discrepancy to be fixed?.. Elimination... does not necessarily imply a low standard for everyone.

I spoke that soon would come a time when God would tell us 'you are healed, stand up and walk' and we as a body will stand whole and healed anew. The time Friends is coming for us to stand and walk.

Just speaking personally, it seems to me that the answers to all these questions become fairly obvious, once we understand that it is God who is in charge and not ourselves!
