Hail storm
Gray clouds, rumbling thunder and then ice from the sky. Wacky and loud!

Reclaiming the Power of Primitive Quakerism for the 21st Century
holy crow. hope nothing was damaged.
Lots of leaves battered off of trees, but other than that everything was fine. The tomatoes and basil plants all survived. There's a funny conversation happening among local Flickr users. Unbeknownst to me at the time, someone about a quarter of a mile away posted a similar hail-in-the-hand picture, though her's looked to be a bit smaller. And another user across town (small town: we're talking about two miles) barely saw anything. So in addition to being very weird, it was very localized.
