No, I don't think I did. I don't think I frequented the office much pre-kid. Once kids happened, there were many more instances of meeting up to pass someone off or otherwise manage children. I hope the Fischians didn't cause a fissure! (Ba-dum-dum!)

That just came up on Facebook too! Yes, Geoffrey Kaiser made many versions of this Quaker tree (though other people made similar "Quaker tree" charts that were simpler). Kaiser put Conservative Wilburites in the middle as an indication of a kind of middle ground of through-Quakerism that visually implies that Evangelicals and Liberals both kind of moved off into their own direction. Geoff is a colorful figure in his own right, a Philadelphia Friend who spend a lot of time in Ohio. As I understand it FLGBTQC more or less started in his living room in the early 70s.

ps: Kathleen, did you ever see the copy of this chart in my old FGC office? I would use a sharpie and white-out to make comical changes. I had a group called Fischians to explain how the clerk of Iowa Yearly Meeting (Conservative) could also work as an FGC staff person.

What about that old spaghetti chart? That was an eye-opener when I saw it in my "Quaker infancy"! This is the only version I see on line and I thought the one I'd seen back in the 90s had far less commentary on it than this one. Maybe I'm just misremembering, though. http://quakertheology.org/QT-22-Kaiser-History-Chart.html
