Most were condolences and well-wishes; others were observation on the state of contemporary institutional Quakerism. I never meant this post to serve these kinds of functions. While I’m grateful for the feedback I’ve taken the comments down. Quaker-this and FGC-that are not particularly important to me now for what should be obvious reasons–my focus is on serving my family by securing employment. Thanks all for your well-wishes!
