Being radical is not, in itself, ‘prophetic.’

There are times in certain activist efforts when one may feel God taking a hand, & certainly God should have the credit for the humane concern that motivates such efforts. Friends could and should be more ‘radical’, ie more willing to see and tinker with the roots of the systemic evils we deplore.

But to truly be more ‘prophetic’, Friends need to ground our politics in friendship with God
